Miles Teller is prepping for Top Gun: Boat Captain, thanks to his wife, Keleigh Teller.
The couple celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary early—the actual date is Sept. 1—with a proposal from Keleigh followed by a very special gift.
“An early 5 year wedding anniversary surprise,” Keleigh captioned the Aug. 26 Instagram post. “Miles always said it’s not fair men don’t get proposed to so cheesed out and did it for him with his dream boat.”
In one of the videos, Keleigh dropped down to one knee, popping the question to the very confused Whiplash actor.
“What are you talking about? What is going on?” the 37-year-old asked as his bride remained on one knee wearing a white dress next to a body of water. “What the hell is going on? What is this?”
As a boat pulled up and Miles continued to look confused, Keleigh spelled it out, shouting, “I bought you a boat!”
The duo and their friends and family made their way down a rose-petal covered dock to the teal-colored boat that had a sign reading, “Happy 5th anniversary.”
The overwhelmed actor looked stunned, but quickly adapted to captain life, donning a Hawaiian-printed captain’s hat and sitting at the steering wheel with first mate Keleigh at his side.
He also christened his new ride, popping a bottle of champagne and spraying it off the side of the vessel.
Keleigh’s been in the surprise mood lately. Earlier this month, she shared a TikTok surprising her longtime best friend Katherine with a birthday visit and a brand new BMW SUV.
As for Miles and Keleigh, the smitten pair have long gushed over their love for one another. For a birthday Instagram tribute post in February, Keleigh praised her husband, writing, “Keep on flying, I’ll stand by and watch you shine forever.”
For Valentine’s Day, he returned the love on X (formerly Twitter), writing, “Happy Valentine’s Day to my One & Only @keleighteller. The world is a better place with you in it and I’m the luckiest guy I the world to have you as my wife. Happy 11th Vday spent loving you.”
